Sabrina + Eric

long distance lovers in the presidio

ABOUT THE SESSION

S + E are a long-distance couple–S lives here in California while E lives in Australia. When E came to visit S in San Francisco, we held a photo session to celebrate their enduring relationship. When choosing a location, S asked me, “Is it cheesy to go to Lovers’ Lane?” and I said absolutely not! Lovers’ Lane actually refers to the street, but the iconic tree trunk structure is actually a permanent piece of artwork: Andy Goldsworthy’s Wood Line.

This was day was quite chilly, and when S + E came onto location, they were shivering! I said no worries–we’ll warm you up quickly. And they did. Our session was full of play as well as intimate moments. And thanks to the San Francisco fog, we actually had the area all to ourselves. The fog created a mysterious yet romantic isolated feel–like you’re the last two people in the world but it’s okay because you have each other.

If you are looking for a couple photo session, celebrating an anniversary, or even getting engaged/married, I’d love to chat with you!
